Core responsibilities will typically include:

  • Assisting with HR duties including providing a highly confidential and efficient service to staff, the board and outside agencies regarding both HR administration and payroll.
  • HR system development and updates including maintaining staff records.
  • Completing new starter and leaver administration and letters.
  • Supporting the administration of payroll.
  • Calculation of salary sacrifice for payroll benefits.
  • Admin for probationary meetings, salary reviews, training, absence management & benefits.
  • Monitor and respond to the HR mailbox, payroll inbox and personal inbox.
  • Respond to staff queries or escalate to a member of the HR team where necessary.
  • Archive data or destroy data in line with GDPR and data protection regulations.

Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Solid administration experience. 
  • Organisational skills and time management.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office. 
  • Ability to pick up new systems quickly (training on HR system provided).

Highly Desirable:

  • Knowledge of HR administration or Payroll administration.
  • Previously worked with a HR system
